This is a pretty good place. The woman who served me was a good spirit, tho she didn't say much. My pancakes had a tad more "blackened" areas than I would accept but I ate em anyway (this isn't the place you'd want to send items back) other than that I liked the meal & welldone pancakes.

I go to Metro Diner atleast once a week during the morning times and each time I go a have a wonderful experience. The food which was cooked by Mary is always amazing, Cheyenne and Chelsey are always present with a smile and loving attitude

Absolutely amazing experience at Metro Diner! The food came out fresh, hot, and tasted incredible. Huge shoutout to Gemma in the kitchen — everything was cooked perfectly and you can tell she really cares about the food she makes. Great service, and our waitress Chelsey was so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast, my friend ordered the waffle with strawberries and pecans. I had the Hobo, one biscuit and gravy,2 eggs over easy,2 bacon,2 sausage, small but tasty piece of ham. Crispy hash browns. And coffee. My friend and I had a busy morning, and stopped for breakfast. Thanks to the waitresses and cooks. We will be back next time we're in the area. And I bought one of their t-shirts. If I could give this place a 0 I would. We waited forever. To compound the initial wait...when we got our food for 5...it was disgusting. We didn't get our complete order and when we would tell the waiter/waitress (who knows) they blamed it on the cook and said there was nothing that could be done. They said the cook was always that way. I watched them go back to the cook and tell her that she didn't complete the order and she argued with the waiter AND she didn't start my granddaughters pancakes for another 15 minutes! The biscuits were flat (when they were brought to the table I thought they had accidentally brought out an English Muffin but...it wasn't) there was no salt in them and they tasted like they had too much soda and cooked in old grease. My 40 yr old son and I at the same time gagged when we tasted them. We told them that they needed to throw them away and all we got was a shoulder shrug. When my granddaughters pancakes were finally brought to the table they were not done in the middle. That was a lot of money to spend on disgusting food. Don't eat there!!! Orders were all wrong. My husband's 6oz rib eye was paper thin and looked like a hockey puck oh and don't get me started on brick hard baked potato. I'd give BIG THUMBS DOWN.. You might want to just drive on by and if you do eat there don't look at the area where your food is prepared. You might be shocked by the filth. I could imagine 10,000 rat's everywhere every night. Food was not good at all and I am feeling sick. The health department was called and they came out and they was forced to clean this up and fix all the broken stuff but the food still sux. Our waiter was great, we didn't wait long, and the food was yummy. I had the best burger there, courtesy of Nate the cook. They have a juke box, but I could barely hear in the smoking section. A perfect lunch! More

Love late night coffee, want a fun and eventful night make sure Amy and Gemma are working they will have u laughing the whole time ur there and will never let the cup of coffee get to the bottom of the cup!!! Always have a smile on their face and will work any shift that needs help!!! This place is full of memories and will always be my go to when I just want to hang with family or friends!!!! Service was great the coffee was delicious but the food left a little to be desired. I wanted waffles, waffle maker didn't work. We both ordered chicken fried steak, it was a pre-made patty. Metro dinner has a really great and wonderful cook, I think her name is Rachel. Dinner Dinner hasn't had a cook like her for some time now you can most definitely feel the love she puts into her wonderful cook. Food is good our server was very attentive and friendly but the smell of cigarette from the time you open the door it just slaps you in the face. I read the reviews about it but I didn’t think it was gonna be that bad. But if you don’t smoke do yourself a favor and just skip this because you will end up with a headache and all your clothes smelling bad. For that reason alone I would not come back here.
